Since 1993, thousands of kindergarten children, schoolchildren, company employees and many other people have been packing aid packages for people in need in south-east Europe in the run-up to Christmas and, since the coronavirus pandemic, also for people in need in Germany.
The parcels are delivered to economically disadvantaged families, school and kindergarten children, people with disabilities, in soup kitchens, old people's homes and children's homes by Johanniter volunteers in close cooperation with their local partners in the target countries.
