Efficient lighting for large warehouses
Various DOTLUX LED luminaires were used in the expansion of the production facilities of wheel specialist BORBET. In the warehouse, the DOLTUX LED high-bay spotlight LIGHTSHOWERevo with intelligent daylight control ensures efficient lighting. In the production area, the MISTRALxtreme and the HALLprotect were installed in the production area. In the office building, the FLATevo panel also ensures optimum lighting conditions.
BORBET light alloy wheels
BORBET belongs to the Hochsauerland region like wheels belong to cars. It has been headquartered in Hallenberg-Hesborn since 1962. A genuine family business, it now employs around 4,500 people at nine locations worldwide. In addition to the six German branches in Hallenberg-Hesborn, Medebach, Bad Langensalza and Niederneuching, the BORBET GROUP also includes subsidiaries with production facilities in South Africa, the USA and Austria.
LED lighting under extreme conditions
Particularly in sections where high temperatures prevail or the lighting is difficult to access, those responsible attach great importance to its reliability. BORBET works around the clock, 350 days a year, to produce over 2,000 different wheel variants. This meant that quality and durability were essential when selecting the lights.
Convinced of the quality
After extensive testing, the old 400 W HQL spotlights in the foundry, machining and paint shop were removed and replaced with our LIGHTSHOWERevo. As the other selected luminaires MISTRALxtreme and HALLprotect also perform well under extreme conditions, these products were just as convincing.
And the best thing is:
The investment in the new spotlights has already paid for itself after just over a year thanks to the significant reduction in electricity costs!
